Call for Mentors: AIM-AHEAD Training Programs
October 28, 2025
The AIM-AHEAD Consortium is now seeking mentors for their 2025-2026 Training Programs. While the mentorship application is open across all four training programs, we especially welcome those interested in the second cohort of AIM-AHEAD programs in collaboration with the Bridge2AI Clinical Care (CHoRUS) and Salutogenesis (AI-READI) Grand Challenges. These programs expand access to Bridge2AI data through engagement, training, and mentorship.
The Clinical Care Program:
equips trainees nationwide to apply AI/ML to big data analysis and conduct innovative research at the intersection of healthcare and AI/ML using multi-modal data elements
The Salutogenesis Program:
provides training in the use of AI/ML methods for health data analysis and includes a train-the-trainer model to increase AI-READI data access
Trainees in both Bridge2AI programs receive a stipend and allowances to attend the Bridge2AI All Hands Meeting & Open House and the 2026 AIM-AHEAD Annual Meeting.
The mentorship period runs from January to July 31, 2026. Mentors will have the opportunity to provide career and professional development support, field expertise, and advice to up to two trainees through twice-monthly meetings. Each mentor will receive a stipend to support their mentees.
Apply by November 14, 2025 for the opportunity to guide the next cohort of emerging leaders in AI and data science for healthcare.
