Data Sharing & Dissemination
Data Sharing & Dissemination
Charter: This working group investigates best practices in data sharing and dissemination for Open Biomedical Data and provides resources to the GCs to help guide their data sharing and dissemination plans. Subjects discussed include definitions of Open Data in the context of biomedical data, best practices regarding the consent process for open biomedical data, tools to promote ethical dissemination of biomedical data, and ethical guidelines and codes of conduct. The working group aims to capture need assessments of all 4 GCs, support plans for data dissemination for the Open House and the data release, and publish best practice guidelines for sharing and disseminating open biomedical data for AI.

Blockchain Task Force
We aim at designing a decentralized, immutable, and transparent ledgering system for the metadata of digital assets (e.g., datasets, models, and results) generated during the biomedical Artificial Intelligence learning process within Bridge2AI’s scope. Specifically, We plan to first understand the digital asset ledgering requirements of Bridge2AI Data Generation Projects (DGPs). Then, we will design and develop a prototype based on the DGPs’ requirements. Finally, we plan to work with DGPs to test and evaluate the feasibility and performance of the ledgering system. We anticipate the system can improve the tracking of Bridge2AI digital assets, as well as facilitating the accrediting of the digital assets.
The Task Force comprises of the following Bridge2AI Consortium Members
