Communications, Meetings, and Portal

Charter: This working group, empaneled primarily by project management staff in the Bridge Center and GCs, is charged with coordinating the generation, use, and maintenance of communications channels.

The Communications, Meetings, and Portal working group will serve as a hub for the Bridge2AI Consortium, assisting with overall coordination of meetings, logistics, and ensuring that the External Advisory Board, the Steering Committee and the Executive Committee follow agreed upon guidelines for assembly, voting, and execution of administrative tasks. It will also ensure documentation of processes and communication with NIH and other entities.

The vision is to promote high quality data, tools and processes easily findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR) for all, in a way that is also fair to the people whose data are at stake. The team will provide the overall guidance for the Consortium, logistic and policy support for its working groups and for Consortium activities, will help evaluate and disseminate Bridge2AI products, will promote diversity within the Consortium and will promote outreach beyond the Consortium, with a special emphasis on under-represented researchers and the communities they serve and prospective funders and other contributors.

Working closely with the Publications team at NIH, the working group will manage both the public facing internet site (this) as well as a consortium-members-only intranet site.
