Grand Challenges – Overview

Grand Challenges

Bridge2AI’s Grand Challenges are ambitious, collaborative efforts to generate high-quality biomedical and behavioral datasets ready for ethical, inclusive, and impactful AI development.

Each Grand Challenge focuses on creating AI-ready data that is FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable—and that upholds the highest standards for diversity, equity, and ethics. Together, these efforts are laying the groundwork for AI tools that can tackle some of the most complex questions in human health, from lifelong wellness to personalized clinical decision-making.

In addition to generating new datasets, each Grand Challenge develops tools, training materials, and best practices that support multidisciplinary collaboration and ethical data generation across the scientific community.
